Very neat place to visit. Expect to do a lot of walking. The whole park is on the side and top of a mountain. Not disability friendly. The actors are really good at re-creating the movie. Only open once per year. The chair lift isn't operational.

Cool stroll through a place that evokes many memories of childhood. This timeless story is brought to life by characters and a setting that are impressive. Crowded as you would expect for an attraction that is open one weekend a year.

We were able to get tickets before they sold out. Lots of walking and lines and crowds, but there are also multiple sets of characters. Which helps with photo ops and queues. This is basically like one bit meet and greet with lots of photo opportunities. Plus, the place is gorgeous! There were several food and craft vendors said up for Oz enthusiasts too.

I loved the experience of being able to walk down the Yellow Brick Road! Sadly it isn't wheelchair/stroller accessible. If you don't want to get caught in a Yellow Brick Road traffic jam, try to get your tickets for earlier in the day. Sadly could not make the trip this year but plan on returning the next time they have their annual Oz event. When I went in 2016, our group was split to ride the shuttle bus to the park so we were able to get two tickets to go through the house (unsure if they still do it that way but pretty sure that they do). The first time through was not terribly crowded, but the second time was packed (hopefully they fixed it so that so many people won't get into a jam along the road). The actors they have to portray each character are great at putting you into the story of Oz. They have several people portraying the characters so you can get photo ops along your journey. I wish they could rebuild the "Emerald City" as it had been when the park was open or at least have a few buildings for shops, a cafe, and maybe even a place for them to rent (they do rent out Dorothy's house in "Kansas" So they could have another place to rent out if the house if full). Keep in mind that it is somewhat pricey but worth it if you're an Oz fan or have children or grandchildren that do. Also, it is off the beaten path so may be kind of difficult to find if you're not from the area.

The only reason I gave this 1 star was because I couldn't give it a negative. We arrived to wait in line for a bus. No big deal. We arrived to the park and waited again for our walk on the yellow brick road to begin. Once we were able to enter the house/beginning it was basically an out of square old house and really dark hallway with neon paint and blacklights. After that you shuffle through a long line of people waiting to take pictures with badly dressed characters at random intervals along the path/yellow brick road. Then the tour ends at another photo op with more badly costumed folks. Then you wait in another line to catch an old school bus back down the mountain. Anyone who gives this good reviews, does not get out much. Such a let down. It cost us $240 for 4 adults, 2 small children, and 1 infant to walk on a path for about 20 min. FAIL!
