The rooms were great, and I liked how each of them was decorated differently, based on the owner's taste. I think I went during off season, as the grounds were not kept well, and there was work being done on the buildings.
It is close to The Land of Oz. Other then that I will not be staying here again. It was an interesting experience.
Stayed here for a wedding over 1 weekend. I left a shirt in my room, and I knew exactly where I left it. I called the front desk after getting home, left a description of the shirt and exactly where it was. They assured me "maintenance" would look for it and get back to me by the next day. Waited a few days and no call back. Called again and had the same conversation, again same response, and again no call back. After about 3 more calls and about 10 days later they finally walked up to the room and found the shirt. The clerk on the phone was indifferent and offered no apology for my wasted time dealing with this issue longer than necessary. They mailed it back eventually but even coordinating that was like pulling teeth. Absolutely awful customer service. I would never stay here again.
The location to the ski slopes was fantastic, and the rooms were well worth the price.
I came solo, so only got the least expensive room. But everything here is really nice. Like staying in a home away from home.
